The retractable pyrometric thermoprobes PARMO are designed to control the gas temperature during starting of the boiler, to avoid the possible damage that could occur in different parts of the boiler, especially in the exchanger tubes.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE:
When the ends of two electrical conductors of different material (thermocouple) are joined, originates at the open ends a voltage of low level (thermovoltage in mV), whose value is proportional to the temperature difference between the union point (measuring point) and the point of said open ends (comparison point).
This thermovoltage is transmitted through a compensating cable from the measuring head that housing the thermocouple to the junction box located at the rear of the thermoprobe.
PARMO DESARROLLOS uses standard thermocouple type "K" (Ni Cr - Ni Al) single circuit, suitable for high temperatures.
The lance tube leaves its rest position, penetrating inside the boiler and performing a continuous measurement of gas temperature along its entire reading travel.
